Newhaven Port recently undertook training in Major Incident Media training with State 21 and their Partner Company Liz Pusey Communications.
Liz Pusey said ‘The team at Newhaven were all engaged and keen to learn about how to effectively handle a media crisis. We had a great day working together and those who took part in the mock interviews really pushed themselves out of their comfort zones to hone their skills - they were clearly committed to improving their emergency response and it was a pleasure to support the team in that process.’
Stephen Tindale, Harbour Master at Newhaven Port said ‘It was fantastic to complement the Managing Major Incidents Training Course with State 21 which we undertook in February, by participating in this Major Incident Media training with Liz. We were able to include a diverse group of our team who may be on the front lines during an incident.’
